Wow...regarding all this financial clusterfuckery on Wall Street, this is by far the best quote I've read so far by anybody:

Watch and wait fellas, when Obama gets elected, McBush and Co. will pull the rug right out from under this whole mess, allowing the whole thing tank, just so the ensuing mess will then be HIS to fix. Mark my words, that's what's coming. You couldn't PAY ME enough to be the next President of this stupid messed up country of ours.

Meanwhile, in my silly little world, I'm still not unpacked yet, nor is everything painted. I seem to have some kind of block in my head that prevents me from being able to do it. I don't really know what the problem is. I just get overwhelmed by it all.

And furthermore, Peter seems to be avoiding me for some reason. SIGH. I try to connect with him via email or chat, but he's rarely there, and then half the time doesn't say much if he is there. I had hoped to see him next Friday, since I'm planning to drive down to DC, but from his last email, that idea may not happen. Makes me feel like not only did DC chew me up and spit me out, but it's feeling like so has he. That's not what I ever expected from him at all.

......Lately all I feel like doing is sleeping.
