Terry's advice...for all of us.

Well, the week is over, my period is starting today (so beware), and frankly I'm ready for the weekend. I chatted briefly with my Dom-buddy Terry this morning, and briefly mentioned the snafu that happened this week between Pete, Peter and me.....here is what he had to say about it.....

[10:21] TERRY: babe, that blog is going to be the death of every relationship you have

[10:21] ME: mostly i write things that everyone is already aware of or we've talked about previously
[10:22] TERRY: ok
[10:22] ME: i mean, i don't write anything there that i won't say to somebody in the face
[10:22] ME: or haven't already said to someone
[10:22] TERRY: I just know that more often than not, when you describe a problem it says, "XYZ got really pissed about ABC on my blog"
[10:26] TERRY: look
[10:26] TERRY: I know this a traumatic for you
[10:26] TERRY: it probably is for him too
[10:26] ME: yes
[10:26] TERRY: and peter is traumatic for pete
[10:26] TERRY: so everyone EVERYONE is going to do stupid shit like it is a hobby
[10:26] ME: heh
[10:27] TERRY: so give everyone slack, expect stipid things and put that in your blog
[10:27] ME: ok
[10:27] ME: i just might do that
[10:28] TERRY: This is traumatic for EVERYONE, please everyone expect stupid behaviors on EVERYONE's part. Let us ALL cut each other slack during this transition.
[10:28] ME: good idea

So there ya go. Thanks Terry, for the advice.

We're all stupid humans. We're all going to goof and do stupid things or say stupid things from time to time, so I hereby declare that Pete, Peter and I will give each other SLACK and the benefit of the doubt from this point onward. No more silly reactive soap opera crap. Sign here on the dotted line, both of you.
