Photos of life at warp-speed

Wow...Life happens fast around here...two weekends ago, Pete and I traveled to Detroit to take part in my friend David's wedding. Last weekend, Pete was performing in a play for Halloween, which just ended yesterday. He's now in rehearsals for a play for Christmas. Meanwhile, I'm still job hunting and getting more and more disgusted as the days pass. I've been told by several places that "until the election is over," everything is at a standstill. SNORT. Just get Obama in there and let's get ON with things already folks. SHEESH. Here are some photos...

This is a couple of recent photos of me, playing my flute at my friend David's wedding. There was a singer and a pianist, and we had one hour of practice for the two pieces before the ceremony began. I only made one mistake during the recessional, but nobody really noticed. WHEW!

And here is the happy couple...Pete says that silly grin on David's face is really the "deer-in-the-headlights-shock of "OH MY GOD I AM REALLY GOING THROUGH WITH THIS..." that apparently all grooms go through on their special day...hehehehe. I almost bought some wedding invitations of my own last week...it's contagious I think, this silly wedding crap...but I put them back and told myself it's just a pipe dream, it'll never really happen, let's just get over it and forget the whole idea. But of course, then Pete whispers at me while I'm half asleep, "I'm going to marry you...I want you to be my wife..." and stuff like that, but I think he's just yankin' my chain.

And here are some photos of Pete in the play for Halloween. It is entitled "I'm Sorry The Bridge is Out, You'll Have to Spend the Night." It's written by the same guy who wrote the Monster Mash song, and it's a spoof on all the horror movies with monsters in them...it's quite funny, actually. Pete played Dr. Frankenstein, the main character. His son, Nate, played the monster.

That photo is of Nate (the monster), Igor, and Dr. Frankenstein (Pete) in the play...and here are a couple more...

I'll have to add more photos next time. It's taking too long!

Love, Sassy Girl
