I really love sushi...Pete and I will go work out at the gym and then go to Trader Joe's to pick up some sushi on the way home for dinner, it's so awesome, we pig out and have fun...but this photo of sushi cracks me up, because if you look closely you'll see there's a MOUSE on the platter....hehehehe....kinda gross really but funny.
My job bores me to death, so I sit and look at various funny web sites that I peruse from time to time, just to find funny pictures like the ones I've included in the blog lately. Otherwise, if I didn't have that ability, I would go insane sitting in this law office with boring lawyers...I listen to my favorite DC radio station (www.idigbig.com) and peruse the LOLcats and LOLdogs and all the ROFLrazzi pictures, and the LOLcelebs too....stuff like that. They crack me up. I can't access Fark.com, which was my favorite time-waster, and I can't access my stupid yahoo email either, which annoys the fug outta me. So, this is what I do.
God I love this picture...I find myself just absolutely enamoured of it...been looking at it now and then, saved it on my computer, and every once and awhile I catch a glimpse of it when I open my pictures folder. There he is, lookin' at me, with a serious Dom-like look....I love the raw realness of it...the normalness...the just plain old regular guy, the real guy, not the on-stage-fake-persona-rock-star guy...THAT is what I love about Steve Perry the most, all of his imperfections, all of his quirks, all of his weirdness, his highly sensitiveness, (like me), and his high-maintenance pain in the ass way of being, his perfectionism, his high standards in all things and in all people...his strict and very high expectations...I love all of those things about him....but mostly, I gotta say, I just absolutely ADORE the man's schnoz. hehehehehe

Here are some more silly funny pics that I found today.

PSSSSST....come here....I'll tell you a secret....I am planning a bit of a surprise for Pete for Friday night--- shhhh don't tell him or I'll bite your face off!! It'll be very cool I think. This coming weekend will be a very busy one, we have to go work out tomorrow evening, then go pick up a desk chair from our friend VIxen, because Pete's son broke the computer chair he sat on, not sure how he did it, but she happened to have one she didn't want anymore.....and then we have to go to Michael's craft store to pick up my last paycheck, as I've recently quit working there. I swear every time I work at another Michael's store, the management gets worse and worse every time. Still love shopping there though.
Then Friday we're off to see Doctor Dirty, a comedian and singer in a local bar...it's actually a church that was turned into a bar, which caused quite an uproar when it first opened. Pete is celebrating his official divorce being finalized on November 10th so of course he's invited all of his chicky friends that he's dated and known the past couple years since his marriage ended, and all he was waiting for was this ex-hag-wife of his to sign some damned papers, which she kept putting off and making excuses about, etc.....and TODAY even, this hag-and-a-half actually CALLS HIM to BORROW MONEY, because she was fired from her new job that she's only had one month. That was one of the biggest problems they had while they were married, at first she worked, but then she quit her job, and didn't bother to go back to work or even look for another job at all, she just mooched off him, cold-fished him about sex, and sat around doing nothing all the time. What a lazy be-otch. I said, "You didn't LET her borrow money, did you?" (As I balled up my fists of doom, ready to pummel him profusely if he answered yes). But luckily he said, "Hell NO." Good boy.
So we will burn this woman in effigy on Friday, bury his wedding ring in a coffin, and party like wild banshees. I wanted to put her face on a dartboard, but he didn't want any bad karma going on, so I skipped that idea. Punching balloons also came to mind, but again I figured he'd say it's bad karma...I've been scouring the internet for "divorce party" ideas lately and found some really funny ones, so I think Friday will be a fun evening for Pete.
Anyway, then Saturday we're going to scramble to get this place lookin' clean and neat for his mother to visit all next week. She's 87 years old, but sharp, and very fragile and sweet...I like her very much. She'll be staying in my place, so we bought a new coffee maker for her, (we don't really drink it much so we never had one before), and we'll get her all comfy cozy with the t.v. remote control, some books to read, and magazines, plus Sassy will be here to keep her company all day too. The poor lady fell last week, and broke her arm. I feel so bad for her, she's had several falls in the past 6 months, and it's just sad that she can't seem to get around as well as she used to. I get along very well with older people, I think it's because my soul is old.
