Ok, so if you're tired of reading all about my perils and joys with Pete, and if you're bored with my silly-but-obvious transference of love towards Steve Perry in lieu of having real boyfriends all these years, I don't really blame you. So this time, I am going to write about my friend of many years, Mr. Charles Johnson. He is a jazz musician living in Memphis Tennessee, but he comes from my hometown, and we hooked up many years ago when we both played in the local community college band.
Here are some recent photos of him, and his band, K'west. He just sent them to me today, and I'm so proud!!

I thought I could save some photos to my computer but they are copyrighted so I couldn't add them here myself.
Charles is the one playing the string bass, and bass guitar...he's also standing to the right of a pretty girl, who is apparently the lead singer. He's a sexy beast, and always has been. I fell head over heels in love with that guy in my mid-20's, WAYYYYY before he had such long dreadlocks goin' on. I still reserve a special place in my heart for him, and always will.
Anyway, so here ya go, I'm very happy to share Charles and his photos, enjoy! I may have to send his CD and DVD to Kevin Chalfant for some ideas on how to get him produced into the big time...
