Holy BEJEEZUS, I'm finally NOT sitting in a car for hours and hours and hours...that was some massive CRAPOLA let me tell you. Driving from Pittsburgh to Michigan, then 2days later, back to Pittsburgh again, and the next day from Pittsburgh to Allentown NJ, and then to Rochester NY...and then 2 days later, back to Pittsburgh. SHEESH. I'm sorry to report that my roadrage has NOT dissipated much since moving from DC. But at least the roads were clear and even though there was snow thigh-deep in Michigan when we got there, it all melted before we left! Haleluyah for THAT.
Anyway, so now we're back in the 'burgh, and I had to work today and will again on Friday. Yippy skippy. Of course, it's party-time tonight, and we're going to the local dungeon later, to do just that! You can't beat free admission and free food, plus all the flogging you can stand! WOO HOO!!
Yeah so visiting family during holidays kinda sucks, so we decided next year we'll just send everybody a postcard from a warm climate while on vacation, and a gift card. Screw it.
I'll add some pictures soon...my best friend's son, Noah, is only 11 but he LOVES Journey more than I do---in fact, he squealed like a girl when he opened his gifts, which included the new MP3 player of Journey's, that has the new album on it (Revelation), AND a downloadable card of "The Essential Journey," which he can also add to the MP3, AND I found that I owned 2 copies of the DVD concert videos, so he got one of those too...the boy was absolutely giddy! hehehe
Good news on the job situation: I am in the running for a really decent job here in Pittsburgh finally, so keep your fingers and toes crossed. That would be a GREAT way to start 2009.
