Ahhhhhh

....yes, the house warming party was a great success, we had 25 adults show up, and 4 kids. Tons of food, all of which was consumed, and happily so...took some pictures, but we can't find the thingy to get the pics off the camera and onto the desktop, so you'll have to wait for those until we unpack more boxes. Neighbors around here are great, they really liked the house and our party deck. I found out that before our current home owners lived here, there was a man and his wife, Mr. & Mrs. Lozario, who planted all the landscaping around here, and built the deck...thank you Mr. and Mrs. Lozario!! Now if I can just find these people, and have them come over to keep the landscaping trimmed, I'll be all set.

Pete's mom pulled a good one...Pete drove her all the way to Allentown, to return her to the nursing home on Sunday, but as they arrived, she decided she wanted to stay with us 2 more weeks!! So they retrieved her cats, got her meds, and turned around to drive back here!! They were in the car 10 hours. Unbelievable. I laughed and laughed when they called me, I mean how funny!! She could have just said, "Would you mind if I stayed a little longer..." BEFORE they drove so far...but I think she missed her cats. Now my dog is going insane trying to get into her bedroom to play with them. All they do is stare at her and hiss, so it'll be an interesting couple of weeks.

Well, I'm off to bed. I'm exhausted. The good news is, I'm working on the book and it will soon be published!! YAY ME!!!
