Cherry Blossom Festival in DC

Pete and I might drive down to DC this weekend to see the cherry blossoms. It's always been my favorite time of year while living in DC, and last year I took my dog Sassy there, and had some photos taken of her and I together, surrounded by them. If we do go, I'll take pics to put on the blogs.

We talked briefly about possibly re-registering for camp this year. I don't know if he will change his mind about it or not. It's the place where we met, so it would be like our anniversary of sorts, to go there again. But, neither one of us really had a great time last year, other than a few things we talked about. So, do we want to spend so much money on it again? He mentioned a weekend workshop in Philly that he would be interested in attending around the same time, so we may just do that instead. I don't know.

As for San Francisco, his company may not send him at all, he's not sure. So that might fall through as well, what a bummer. I had kinda been looking forward to seeing a new city, but only if I could bring my dog along. No word yet on it from his boss, so we're just waiting to find out.

Pete says he wants to celebrate my birthday for a whole week...I say MEH, it's just one lousy day of the year, let it go by quick, don't drag it out longer!! I want a photo of a Mrs. Beasley doll in a frame. I loved that damned doll when I was a kid. But on ebay they were friggin' expensive, so forgetaboutit. A photo will be fine.
