Even despite my annoyances this weekend, and after not quite 5 hours of sleep and a 4.5 hour drive straight to work today, plus 8 hours of working (well, attempting to, when I'm not nodding off), Pete jolted me awake by saying:

[15:56] ME: i love how we seem to gel when it comes to our ability to sleep in the same bed without going crazy
[15:56] ME: and that we can shower together without annoying each other
[15:56] ME: and that we can go places and do things, even with other people, in a comfortable and relaxed way most of the time

[15:56] ME: and i love that we have deep and meaningful conversations
[15:56] ME: and not just chit chat or surfacey stuff
[15:56] ME: and can talk about our pasts and other people we've known
[15:57] ME: and been with
[15:57] PETE: That is all a part of it dear.

[15:57] ME: i love how you make me feel pretty
[15:57] ME: even without makeup
[15:58] ME: and how you treat me with respect
[15:58] ME: and are so tender and loving, but at the same time, a dirty damned dawg

[16:05] ME: you have the natural Dom urge to guide and allow them to grow into it, but they just have a disconnect that not even the most experienced Dom can ever fix.
[16:05] PETE: To reach down inside and get more strenght.

[16:05] ME: i've had to refill myself so many times, i've nearly run out.
[16:05] ME: so in that respect, having someone there to help me when I am depleted, is good
[16:06] PETE: Well I feel like I want (and need) to be a better stronger me for you.
[16:06] ME: and I feel an urge to please in every possible way moreso than I have ever been able to do with Peter.
[16:06] PETE: This is I think the biggest difference for me between you and everyone else.

[16:07] PETE: I want to grow and be there and be strong and lead by my example and hold you and protect you and care for you.
[16:07] PETE: All the while sharing the whole relationship with you as equals.
[16:08] PETE: It is revitalizing to me to have such a strong capable woman who can obviously take care of herself be willing to let me take care of her.
[16:09] PETE: You challenge me and give and please me all at he same time.

[16:09] PETE: This level of sharing of ourselves together is deeper than I have ever known.
[16:10] PETE: And the deeper we go, the more I love and want and need you.

[16:12] PETE: These are hard things to put into words.
