Yesterday I got my Mrs. Beasley doll back from the doll-fixer person we sent her to. Pete bought the doll for me for my birthday a few weeks ago, but her voicebox didn't work, and her glasses didn't fit, and she was in need of more stuffing. So when I opened the box, I squealed like a little girl---I mean, the last time I saw this doll working in my life was when I was 5 or 6 years old---so I couldn't remember a THING that she says when you pull her string, and every time I did, I squealed again, and laughed...Pete and his mom said, "If we had a videocamera to show you, we'd SWEAR you were just like being 5 or 6 years old again!"
And so it goes, some days the horoscope is right on. I LOVE MY MRS. BEASLEY DOLL!!
